Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about AfriStich.
The Buyer Protection and International Service Fee supports secure payment handling, Quality Assurance, order coordination, buyer support, and international fulfillment administration. At launch, the fee is 10% of the item subtotal, with a minimum of $15 and a maximum of $40 per order. Local USPS last mile delivery charges are calculated separately.
Before final shipment, AfriStich compares the item with the approved order details and checks key elements such as measurements, fabric, stitching, finishing, and visible defects. Quality Assurance reduces risk but does not guarantee subjective satisfaction or perfect fit when buyer-provided measurements are inaccurate.
AfriStich protects buyers through vendor verification, staged payouts, secure payment handling, and Quality Assurance at our Lagos office before orders are cleared for final shipment.
For custom orders, choose a vendor, share your design preferences and measurements, discuss the details, review the vendor's quote and fulfillment milestones, and approve the final order before production begins.
For ready-to-wear items, fabric, and accessories, browse available listings, select the item and options, and pay the listed price. The item is then routed through AfriStich's fulfillment and Quality Assurance process before final shipment.
Yes. You have 48 hours after confirmed delivery to report an eligible issue: wrong item, missing or incomplete order, transit damage, a material difference from the approved order details, or a major defect not reasonably detectable during Quality Assurance.
Submit clear photos or videos of the item, packaging, shipping label, tracking details, and the specific issue within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.
Claims do not cover buyer's remorse, minor preference issues, fit concerns caused by incorrect buyer measurements, or subjective dissatisfaction when the item matched the approved order details and passed Quality Assurance.
